We send our heartfelt sympathy to all the Schwartz family in thei loss. Aunt Marg was a dear lady, and although she will be missed, it is uplifting to think of her in a better place, free of the bonds of her oxygen apparatus and breathing freely once more.al
We have so many great memories of partying with Jane and Bill and Aunt Marg and Uncle Bill in our younger years; they sure knew how to party down and have fun! And when our son, Jeff, was born, she dubbed him: "Jefferson Washington Robertson" and I can still hear her calling him that when he was a little guy. We are so thankful that we were there for her 90th birthday party at the facility. That will always remain a very special memory for us, and thanks to Kathy, we have wonderful pictures as keepsakes. She was a joy to be around, and her warmth and humor will be misse by many. We can now think of her as,once again, being part of the Robertson-Schwartz gang and living it up in heaven!

Marge treated everyone so well. She had such an incredible personality, and a wonderful sense of humour. She always had a minute to talk to a child, regardless of how busy she was .Her family is so fortunate to have this wonderful lady. My dad Ernie Cull, who passed in 1990, adored both Marge and Edna for the way they handled their switchboard duties, and the graceful way they represented the company and themselves. I feel very fortunate that they were a part of my childhood. Warmest regards, Norman Cull

How well I remember the always fun-loving Marge Schwartz at Defoe Shipbuilding Co. in the 1960s!! She was the receptionist with personality and flair, and she could run that switchboard like no one else. Occasionally, I was allowed to sit in for her on breaks, but I was such a geeky high school kid that I knew I'd never fill her shoes. Marge made us all laugh in spite of ourselves and made us all feel welcome and special. She called everyone "honey" and meant it! You may know that I lost my Mom, Edna Willett, another member of the Defoe crew, in 2006. I'm grateful for all that these two great ladies gave to their children and to Bay City. My best to Marge's entire family, especially BJ and Charlie.
